Lake Blackshear provides the perfect location for unique boating and fishing experiences with family or with company outings. Lake Blackshear was created in 1930 by the damming of the Flint River to provide low-cost power to the citizens of Crisp County. Today, the lake offers more than 8,000 acres of water and shoreline recreation. Our staff can help you arrange an activity to fit your style, including:

• Rentals - Pontoon, Fishing and Ski Boats are available for rental by the hour or by the day.
  
  
• Guided fishing trips - Let local and experienced guides show you the ropes of fishing for bass, bream, white perch and catfish on Lake Blackshear and the Flint River. Fishing trips are ideal for families, companies or just individuals that want to learn more about the lake. Guides are also available at night.
  
  
• Event Boat - The pride of our fleet, Liberty Lady, is a 50 passenger vessel perfect for Weddings, Rehearsal Dinners, Reunions, Parties and Corporate Events. Food and Beverage service is available through the Resort.
