The 155mm field gun nicknamed “Long Tom” was Americas standard heavy artillery in WWII. This gun was produced by Mesta Machine Company in Pittsburgh, PA in 1943. The Long Tom served the armed forces until the 1950’s and still saw service in the 1970’s throughout the world.
